August 3, 2009:  MANILOW FOREVER AND A DAY FUNDRAISER--2009!!!!!   

DEAR EVERYONE,

We were planning our fundraiser for MaxFund (Denver's only no-kill animal shelter---to find out more, click onto our "Charities" page on this website.).  I received  a letter from the head of volunteers at the shelter---our plan was decided.

This is one of our charitable commitments and it needs our help.

        FUNDRAISER BEGINS:   MONDAY,  AUGUST  10, 2009

        FUNDRAISER ENDS:    MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2009

Any donation you could contribute will be very much appreciated, and will help the animals, who cannot speak for themselves.    ****The donations will be presented in person to the MaxFund, and made in the names of Barry Manilow and Manilow Forever and a Day BMFC.

July 24, 2008:  The Fundraiser drawing for The Manilow Fund was held last evening at our Fan Club Meeting (at Applebee's, in Denver, CO.).  The winners of the drawing are:

                                                            PACKAGE #5--"HILTON OASIS WITH BARRY"-------Lorraine McMurray

There was a later contribution  of a signed audio book by Cynthia B. Ainsworthe, "Front Row Center."  It won an IPPY award this year for independent publishing.  It is a romance novel, inspired by Barry Manilow..............At the end of the drawing of the "packages,"  all the entering tickets were put together,and one name was drawn for this book.........And, the winner of this drawing is:

CONGRATULATIONS, EVERYONE,  for your contributions, participation, and most of all, for  your donations to the Manilow Fund for Health and Hope.  You helped raise $360.00 for The Manilow Fund; and, helped make our first fundraiser a huge success!!

                                          TO  BENEFIT  THE MANILOW  FUND  AND  TO  CELEBRATE  BARRY'S  BIRTHDAY 

                                                            (This Fundraiser is a Raffle  with tickets  $1.00 each  or  6  for  $5.00.)

                               Our Raffle begins June 17, 2008 ( at Barry's Birthday party at Applebee's, in Denver, CO), and ends July 16, 2008----with the drawing to be held Wednesday,  July 23, 2008,  at 7 pm, at our Fan Club Meeting (at Applebee's, in Denver, CO.).

                                                                                    THERE  ARE  FIVE  EXCITING  PACKAGES!!!!!

The first three packages are Barry special Bears from Build-a-Bear Workshop.   Their "store"  names are "Teddy Reads."  One dollar from the purchase of each bear went to nonprofit organizations, including First Books, which provides new children's books to low income families.  So, these little guys are Beary excited to help two worthy causes!!!!
